Thanks Jet Jock, Duvie and Swat--all good info and food for thought...am thinking about applying for Sky West or another corporate gig on the other side of the planet that's a virtual unknown but would be a captain job on the same equipment I fly here 35on/30 off.
Do you guys know typical current time frame from app submission to possible interview date?

Ok...here is another question for you guys. I as awared SLC in the CRJ here in June. I am trying to get to ORD or MKE. (Only one senior to me was awared MKE - ORD-0) When can I put my bid in for ORD/MKE? When I get into class? It dosen't give me the option yet to put in a base transfer for the CRJ, only the option for the CRJ/EMB upgrade. Do you think I can get these bases by time I am out of training? Thanks in advanced!
You ::should:: be able to bid for a transfer by training I'm sure...

I'd be lazy too, if I had a pension And maybe I also just like to fly too much LoL
