No offense man...but your "airline" is ran by an ex-NWA mechanic

Mr. John Bendoraitis
Mr. John Bendoraitis, Compass's President, joined Northwest in 1984 and worked as a technician and technical instructor before accepting a manager's position in 1998. Prior to joining Compass in July 2006, Mr. Bendoraitis was the Vice President of Base Maintenance for Northwest. In that role, he had the responsibility for all of the Northwest's airframe, engine and component maintenance. Prior to this assignment, he worked on a variety of management positions in the various Support Shops including Managing Director of Minneapolis Line Maintenance and Plant Maintenance Operations. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Metropolitan State University, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of St. Thomas and he is a licensed Airframe and Power plant mechanic.

If you call that infrastructure...Ok...more power to you

Don't get me wrong...I have friends at Compass and I tell them the same thing when the try to get me to come over...IT JUST DOESN'T SEEM SAFE THERE...thats all I am saying....Good Luck

show me one airline ceo/cfo/ etc that actually has experience in the airline industry before he gets hired by an airline....and by experience I DONT mean taking an airline into bankrupcy or shutting its doors. All corporations are like that. Didn't the last 2 NWA CEO's go to Krispy Kreme and United Healthcare repectively? I doubt they sold donuts or even had to worry about health insurance before leaving Nwa. All CEO's are in bed with each other, it doesnt matter where you got your management experience, its whether you went to Harvard or who you know.

If your not trying to start a ****ing match over this then, you're doing a pretty poor job. I'd be more worried about a fleet of 50 seat rjs with $135/barrel oil than other people's mgmt personnel if I were you. Nobody at Compass thinks they fly for a major, my type still says erj. Just because you are delusional and jealous doesn't mean you have to bag on others who found a good deal that works for them.

What do I have to be delusional or jealous about....WE ARE ALL RJ DRIVERS....I am in the same boat that you are!!! And my 50 seaters...I actually like them because I can kick people off my plane faster than 76 seater....AM I SERIOUS...Am I really arguing about Regional Flying....Snap out V1....Ok....sorry I'm back.....

What I really meant to say is....Look...I wish the best for you guys at compass....and yeah I ain't gonna lie...your plane looks cooler than mine....but I hold a pretty good line....I am based at home...and I feel pretty safe at Pinnuckle...and my flying contract seems pretty strong....I mean geeeezzz if Mesa can win in court...I am sure we can too....again Good Luck...Compass

And by the way oil is at $125.00.....Neeener Neeeener Neeeeeeener....LMAO

Compass has an SOC and hdqrs in Chantilly. The accounting, payroll, IT and perhaps a few other departments are run by MCHoldings whose employees were all Mesaba employees before their badges changed to reflect the new company they worked for. The bottom line is that Compass is basically a virtual airline with far less structure than Mesaba or Pinnacle.

I guess I don't understand what you mean by "a virtual airline with far less structure than Mesaba or Pinnacle" comment. How are we "less structured" than Mesaba? How does it make us "virtual"? Both of our pay comes from the same people. As you stated, we share some departments, but we have our own management, own HQ, etc.
