That may be 1/3, but that's not relevant to determine how many are currently 1st year employees.

Didn't XJT hire about 700 last year ? SkW did.

Its whatever the company needs at the time you are hired! We had a few guys in my class that had some pretty good sic turbine time and jet training in my Bro class (14 months ago). I had about 3800 hours when I was hired with about 1000 hours multi 135 time but no turbine experence. They will put you where they need you the most. If you have 121 experence......the jet is where you will probable go.....most of the time.

Ignore 'em Tony. This is a thread about SKW hiring not another XJT pilots vs. SKW management.

So, you're just p'd off that SKW, Inc's number is bigger ?

I'm guessing that whether it's 300 or 700, that'll be folks still on first year pay, correct ? Not saying getting axed is fun, just getting perspective.
wow i'm glad you quoted his (alex's) post, because it's gone. i wonder if he edited it or if the board took it down? interesting. nice guy, though. i guess he would prefer the company just go out of business so everyone ends up on the street. but it is their vote...they get to choose. i think we know where this guys stands, though.

Won't matter as far as airplane assignment, or for anything else once you're hired.

If hiring is tight, the degree can make a difference getting a job at the regional level.

It's when you apply to majors that the degree is critical.
