Um, dude, I was agreeing with you. I said that BOTH used/are using an expensive airframe. But when I said that XJT is better positioned, I meant in the way that another poster brought up. XJT still has a the majority of revenue coming from the CPA with CAL. What is amazing is that a cost plus agreement with 205 airframes can't even break even with 69 airframes doing other things.

When I-Air was launched, it was 85% I-Air, 15% coming coming from DAL with a FPD agreement that ran out on November 1st of 2004.

I'm sure the airbus seats were more comfortable....
The seats on Branded jets are new memory foam and so-far, are exclusive to Expressjet.

Better steal one now before it becomes a collector's item.

Disclaimer; the above is intended as a joke ONLY and the poster has no need, want, or desire to see the branded operation of ExpressJet Airlines fail.

The DelCon seats need more cow bell.

Me neither. FAT-ONT and FAT-SAN are the best thing ever.

Lots of good information here. All I wanted when I started this thread was to show that SKW is not responsible for the position XJT is in now. Most SKW pilots have no interest in seeing XJT go under. I would love to see some new flying secured for you guys and have Ream replaced by a CEO that has the employee groups' best interest at heart. Good luck

True, but if this buyout does happen, they can be responsible for putting XJT in a crappier position than they are now. Although we don't know ALL of what is going on here, XJT still has the potential to pursue other avenues. Being bought by SkyWest will kill that. No, I'm not saying there is anything like that on the horizon, just making the point.

I don't doubt this. Too bad my FA had to listen to a 120 FO tell them how XJT screwed up the contract with CAL and that he couldn't wait to upgrade on the ERJ while he was commuting home on us the other day. I'm sure he had exclusive insider information as to the CPA and EVERYTHING that has transpired between CAL and XJT. NO, I'm not saying ALL SkyWest pilots are like this, but I think this guy probably just should have kept his mouth shut.

With the exception of SW, that statement is an oxymoron.

Lets face it, CEOs don't have the employees best interest at the top of their list. Although from what I know, we've been treated fairly by JR.
