Thanks for the info Nostradamus.
The stock has a dead cat bounce right now. It's up $.16 to a nice $.71

The end might not be as close as some are saying.

The entire market rebounded fairly well in the morning. We'll have to wait and see what the fed does.

The regionals hiring is slowing, and with qualified pilots on the street from ATA, Champion, etc., it will get even more tight. Better get on with someone now before you have to drive a truck.
Why aren't you a captain yet?

I hope they do nothing, we need to try to slow this inflation. If the dollar goes up, oil prices will go down.

Edit: Not as soon as I open my mouth the fed cuts interest a 1/4 point and the dollar is dropping, again...idiot.

An airline has 90 days in which it can wait to pay off its bill at airports such as DRO. It is not untypical to see airlines, particularly when they're cash strapped like MAG, to milk it until the last second.

I'm with you Blue....I have no idea why the Fed keeps dropping the rates. With energy prices on the rise its time to prop up our dollar.

I think they are hinting at just that.... that was probably the last drop we will see for awhile..... frankly a bounce of a point to a point and a half would help the dollar and thus help trading in oil......which was down to the blistering price of 113 a barrel earlier today.

Because the federal reseve is NOT a government organization..it's private, and headed by the major banks of the united states. They make money off of the government for every dollar that's made. A weaker dollar, means more of them out there....and more money for them.

It's NOT? So if I go to federalreserve.GOV, I'll find nothing about how the FEDERAL Reserve was created by an act of Congress on December 23, 1913?
