Default Truck Drivers needed!

IF you really enjoy working in the travel industry, a truck driving position may be a great fit for a lot of guys here. My cousin flew after high school for a few years instructing, freight and then a regional and never made over $20k/year. He recently started driving a rig and will clear $80+ this year, loves the schedule and says the company is great to him. Just thought I'd pass on some helpful info.

yea..................despite my negativity lately, I know a lot of guys that drive a truck for a living, I will clear $50,000.00 this year, they may make a little bit more now, but they work 6 days a week and the potential is still much higher here, as well as a lot more time off. You guys think flying an airplane makes you fat, go drive a truck for a year then see how unhealthy you are

If you get into fly for the money, you are in the wrong industry. And what regional did he fly for, after a few years and not making over 20K/Year? Does not sound right.

Yeah, with diesel at over $4 a gallon, trucking seems like a great idea. Factor in road taxes, mx costs, and time away I think I'll stay here.
