There is no lawsuit. Republic has filed a claim of 250 or so million against Frontier. This means Republic has told the bankruptcy court that Frontier owes it lots of money for terminating the codeshare agreement early. Republic does not expect to receive the full 250 million. First, the bankruptcy judge will award, at some point down the road, Republic an amount he sees fit to compensate RW for lost revenue. Likely this will be less than half of what Republic has asked for, especially if new homes are found for the 17 aircraft. Next, Republic will take the actual award and sell it on some market for a fraction of its value. 40 to 50 cents on the dollar would be considered a good sale. In the end, Republic could wind up with 70 or so million.

The new hires were "terminated" out of simplicity. By that I mean paperwork had not even been processed for most of them, and the company does not want to pay furlough benefits to someone who has been on property for less than a month. Is that the right thing to do? No, but quick and harsh decisions are being made, and those decisions will be revisited in grievence form. Since paperwork was not yet complete, I doubt anything negative would show up on employment histories.

There is always room for you at Comair...we are still hiring, which is suprising.

I agree it was not only a BRAG FEST...but a huge one. We had a RAH jumpseater a few weeks back and all he could talk about was how GREAT RAH was and how they lead the regionals. I bet he's not talking smack now.

No I dont get into this "which regional is better" I was just asking if the brag fest was over? But I answered my own question...

Had a CHQ crew harrass me in an elevator bc who I work for... at a hotel......

And my boyfriend has had jumpseaters from RAH who were told by the captain that it was time to "shut up" bc he wouldnt talk about how amazing it was... so rude

Eagle Rocks! WwoOOoO HooOOOoO! ;o) haha... Anyone want a job? I'll split the five hundo referral fee?

We just had a chick go through training with 250 TT! She didnt make it through the final aircraft training but hey, hopefully this gives some low timers hope for applying and getting on!

Relax everyone, this isnt a brag fest. Alot of people are just a little sensitive right now, understandably, because the industry (entire economy actually) is so unstable. All you can do is pour yourself another stiff one, kick back and treat all times as the good times.
