No, you misunderstood. The RW class that had started on 03/25 and was through systems pretty much now has to start all over with S5 indoc, which begins tomorrow for them.

ALL hiring has stopped as of today. No new-hire classes scheduled.

I understand that there will be no new hire classes. That makes sense for now. It is just too bad that those folks are not just put in a pool for future hiring.

Anyway, thanks for clearing up the confusion I had. I hope this friend can come up with something. I am going to help her here at AWAC when I can.

From what I've heard from the new hires that were cancelled, the company was very vague on the furlough vs. termination issue and whether they are back in a pool or if they will have to interview again.

I'm in the 3/25 Shuttle class and we got a couple of minutes from HR just to let us know what was going on. From what they told us they are looking at around the August timeframe on new hire classes again. The ones displaced today are apparently in line first for classes when they begin again. I have a friend in the now cancelled 5/13 class and they are next in line once classes begin again.

Sorry to all those sent home today and hang in there...

Just to clarify the title, RAH is the one who pulled the plug on the F9 agreement. They've been working together to renegotiate the contract and apparently F9 wanted RAH to absorb the cost of fuel which BB refused. In the end, it was decided to part ways. Luckily, this only accounts for 12 aircraft out of over 200 so it shouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Definately a hit to the DEN guys...hopefully this works out for everyone involved.

I guess this means I will be in the pool a lot longer then originally expected. Time to look for jobs else where while I keep instructing... Timing really is everything in this biz, if I had 100 multi this time last year it would have been soooooo much different!
