do you have ANY idea what FO's at the regional level made say hum... 15 years ago... no probably not... I do not that it really matters.

Do you think auto workers are happy with their industry? How about textile workers? or hum, steel workers... dude the list goes on. Enjoy the job ..TOLERATE the industry....work to improve it... but man dont put your self in a early grave getting "bent out of shape" about it. You work for your UNION ...GREAT... me too by the way....

I guess if *****ing about it makes you feel better.....great. Enjoy life.... the rest will come......

I guess there was a time when you were niave too. I can recall your posts proclaiming how happy you were:

Left Colgan
Hired by XJT
and maybe an upgrade somewhere along the way.... can't say for sure

Thankfully, after three long years, your eyes have been opened and you have seen the light.

That kind of thinking fills class dates at poverty wages. You can not be so sure that the "rest will come". Life is not a Disney movie. Aviation careers have been on a downhill slide and will never return to the good times.

The moral here is if you want to prosper in life then don't be a: Pilot, textile worker, steel worker or blacksmith, goat herder, and gas station owner for that matter. Many other professions are on the rise. It does not take a profit to see that those jobs are on their way out. Why not pick a better one.

All human progress is made by discontent men.

You are right but there is something some of you are missing, its not XJT, or the job that I have grown bitter and angry towards, its the state of the industry and where I see it going. How well do you think the CAL negotiations are going? Not the best time to be negotiating, how convenient for management, and I hope with these mergers furloughs don't become a reality but I fear they are next to come, mergers are notorious for this...........

And Sky people like you think you know what is right for everyone else. There may have been better times in this business... but it hardly was ever the panacea that you think... well unless you were one of the few who had it easy in this business and I dont think there have ever been alot of those.

And what i meant by "the rest will come" is that life give you what it gives you with a little help from us along the way. Enjoy the ride and YES certainly if what someone needs to fulfill them either with the job or monetarily cant be achieved in this industry they need to look elsewhere. Hell even in the best of times this business was littered with people who never MADE IT to the top....

How is that 150......

Well I'm glad some people are happy out there. I'm tired of reading sob stories of people who just hate the industry....I say if you don't like it, leave! Just makes room for more people like me who want to be there
