Now back to RAH...
I been looking through the posts for recent interview gouge. Any updates? Panel, sim, test? Please advise.
I understand the part about it's not the Navy, I'll be on my best behavior and NO JOKES!!! "These two guys go into a bar............"
What is space A travel for RAH? Is it a confirmed seat just space A?
Thank you.

You are space available to the interview which means exactly that. If there is space available, you can have a seat. You also go behind pretty much everyone else except on RAH aircraft, then you just go behind us IIRC. Getting to IND is a notorious PITA for interviews. I understand that the company is pretty good at getting you rescheduled if you don't make it. If you are withing 3-4 hours of IND, I'd highly recommend you just drive.

If you have the ability to jumpseat I recommend just finding your own way there. I don't think you'll regret the move.. I sure don't. Being on reserve with a one leg commute is better than a being a line holder with a two leg commute especially this time of year.

Thanks for the travel gouge. I'm Navy in Norfolk so jumpseating is out. I know Shuttle/RAH flys to ORF as I have been pax on one. What is IIRC and how do I get booked on one of your flights? I have HR #s and email. Can they help? I guess I'd better price tickets.
Also, anything unusual on the interview or just the standard, "tell me about..", some tech questions etc? RAH doing sims?

I got zero technical questions... all standard HR questions read directly from the sheet from one interviewer. The pilot asked a few random HR questions like "name something you've learned from a captain recently".
As a side note, I got hired for the 4/21 class, Republic 170. Got a call yesterday from Glenda (she's really awesome) and got switched to Shuttle America on the 170.

As far as the interview goes, bring all your docs to fill out PRIA paperwork, there's a Wonderlic aptitude test, a 24 question ATP/IFR test, HR interview, and PCATD. HR was pretty laid back as there were very few technical questions. It was mostly get to know you type stuff. The PCATD wasn't that bad. I took off, held at Terra Haute VOR, Direct to the outer marker for the ILS RWY 5 and that was it. Started around 8AM and was done by about 1:00.
One dude was trying to make a move from another 121 carrier (and no he wasn't Mesa). He claimed that there was no reason to fail the written test if you just study the gouges. Guess who was the first one to get dismissed because he didn't score high enough. Point is, don't underestimate the written. Study the ATP and IFR oral or written exam guides and you should do fine.
Now this was all before they allegedly made everything more difficult. I'm counting down the days until my ERJ-145 class in May.
www.aviationinterviews.com has more detailed gouges.

Rightseatdude I was just wondering when you were interviewed. I was hired and put in the pool the third week of march but still haven't heard anything back about a class date. I have heard some rumors about late summer, but it's good to hear that some are still getting class dates.
