These are routes that AE is currently flying with RJs.
I never said anything about MIA as a base. MIA flying is being outsourced.

I applied with 482/73 so if I due get it I will have to go do the eagle paid transition stuff wich I don't mind. I'm trying to decided if I want to try the BOS to ORD switcharo or just chance it and might end up with the CRJ. I live about an hour from ord so I'm practicaly in base any thought? Thanks everyone got my fingures crossed.
When I applied with AE I also started with a fax and an emailed resume. I never heard "boo". go to Airlineapps, it is free...it is a pain in the ___. But if you want the job you have to go through airlineapps.

That is what I did. I asked for BOS, giving me the EMJ. The 4th day of class I was set up for our bidding system and placed the ORD EMJ bid.

The beginning of the 3rd week I was awarded ORD EMJ. I spoke in person with the ORD crew scheduler. They are sooo short staffed there. People are able to fly as much as possible. If you want ORD EMJ, bid BOS. I was skeptical about it before training, but it worked for me and happened before I completed systems training.

Has anybody ever been burned, and then ended up getting stuck in BOS? Doesnt AE catch on to this little loophole.

Question about the CRJ: Wouldnt the routes be more favorable on it since it's mostly longer hauls? What type of line would a guy on the CRJ get?

Anyone care to speculate on how being sold may impact AE?

I don't understand. If Eagle is so short staffed, and they need 123 EMJ FO in ORD, then why would you have to bid BOS and LGA and then transfer into ORD. Shouldn't they be thrilled to have someone bid ORD?

I have a friend who wants to apply to Eagle soon, so I am trying to learn as much as I can about the company. Thank you.

By bidding BOS or LGA you can assure yourself that you will be in the 145 vs rolling the dice with ORD and possibly getting the CRJ to start off....which has a long reserve time right now...

I'm wondering with all shutdowns like Ata if I will even get a call all the high time pilots without jobs may saturate the market however I dont know how many would work for 20k.

If I was an L1011 capt at ATA, I'd go into construction or something other than flying jobs before I'd work for 20k at a regional. Don't think you'll see a lot of those guys around.
