its probably cheaper for Delta to buy us and smash us apart than fight us in court at this point.

It seems like the biggest anchor around Mesa's neck right now is GO! Sooooo does anyone see any way that they would continue to operate out in Hawaii?

Given that their goal was predatory in nature, and they have already killed off one of the intra-Hawaiian carriers, I think they will only continue to battle Hawaiian Airlines in an effort to monopolize the intra-Hawaiin market. I wouldn't be surprised to see go! continue to operate until the death of one airline or the other. If Ornstein is successful in monopolizing that market, they would be able to charge exorbitant fares and the operation would pump millions in profit into Ornstein's bottom line.

I truly hope that Hawaiin is able to hang in there and run go! out of Hawaii. They seem to be a much stronger carrier than Aloha was, but in the $110/bbl oil environment, the future is anyone's guess...

Not if they file for bankruptcy. It is a cash-cow right now and I doubt the courts will let the operation in Hawaii continue.

Except Aloha's Island Air is still operating intra-island flying. They are using the Dash-6, 37 seater. I can't imagine go! can ever compete with oil where it is while charging only $10 less for the same tickets.

I'd really like to see somebody fit 37 people on a Dash 6.

I might believe a Dash 8.
