sucks man. Those bro's are cash cows too, well at least I thought.

Could be but it's nice to see that they’re offsetting them with more routes. I have it on good authority that more new EMB routes are going to be announced soon with service beginning this summer.

That sounds good to me. I accepted the EMB upgrade (finally) for May so it's nice to see that the plane should be around a bit longer. Now if I could only convince 'em to keep Modesto-LAX

I really miss flying up and down the coast. I hated commuting out to CA from St. Louis, but once I got out there it was like a vacation. How many EMBs are we getting rid of?

It very well may be man...Not too happy about it, but I've gotta go where the flying is. Actually, I'm seriously thinking about transitioning over to the Bro in FAT - did I already tell you that?? Not sure haha...Anyway we'll see - oh and btw, I got your invite...damn right I'll be there!

I think like two are being removed from service in June or July according to our last Headlines paper we got. Next time I run into Dennis I am going to probe him for more info. I have recurrent in FAT on April 12th so maybe I will hear something there? Anyway, that looks like that is all the Bro's were getting rid of this year until the new 700/900 start coming in the beginning of next year. Of course that is all subject to change as well. Did a LAX-MOD run last Thursday and the news was there doing a story about the loss of service to LAX. Seemed like that was a pretty good run for us and flights I have flown seemed to have good loads on them. MOD is a good overnight and I am sad to see them getting cut back!

Is Bro still having problems with icing and FAA mandated stupid rules? These new destinations are the icing capital of the world .. Just curious..

Maybe someone else can chime in but back when I flew the Bro we didn't have to do anything special. The only addition to the a/c as far as icing goes is the "Comair Box" but that was installed years ago and as long as you stayed above 170 KIAS you're fine. I've flown it in some pretty bad icing and it did just fine.
