NY Bases
Hey everyone,
I know that bases open and close all the time and it may be hard to predict what might happen, but here it goes..... Im wondering what bases are open in western, central, eastern NY and NYC and how you think they are doing and whether you think they will stay open or close. Im looking for info on any regional airline only. Are there any bases that just opened or just (or are going to) close(d)? Thanks in advance and feel free to post any other comments about your airline, likes or dislikes.......just no bashing please!

PDT has a base in LGA but be willing to live out of a crashpad if you commute cause almost all trips are out-n-backs. I also hear it is hard to commute from upstate NY such as SYR or ROC. Don't know for sure. Never tried it. Just passing on what I hear.

A pilot I know has moved to SYR because he said ROC had closed, but BUF was still open, but you say ROC is still open....is there anyway to confirm what bases for Colgan are still open besides the website? I know they use to have the one saab overnight but it goes to BUF now.
