No one questioned about the Cessna's role in all this mess. Personally, regardless of what airport, what runway, I always check my final and my runway before taxi on to it for take off. Something about 91.3 keeps popping into my head about this situation. The crew on final sounded to me like they were prepared. As for the Cessna pilot, s/he could have easily declined the take off clearance or requested a delay in release. Sure the Cessna could have been a student pilot on a solo mission, but I remember my CFI telling me there's no reason to rush anything.

As for pointing fingers at controllers, I seem to remember a few times in my training days I made some errors that controllers let me loose on...just my 2Kb worth...

What comes around goes around... you will need some slack from a controller one day. Or rather, someone you know will.
