I live in an Eagle base. I have thought about it quite a bit. Gotta get the offer before there is a decision to make.

Good luck!
The military made me grow numb to mass amounts of paperwork years ago...Are you telling me there's just as much bureaucracy in Eagle as there is in government work?

Thanks for the info!

To get back the original poster's question, what tips do y'all have for the sim ride?

There isnt mass amounts of paperwork. I said they used to be picky about it. Dates in a certain format, names in a certain format, all the documents they asked you to bring right there on your desk. Its not that hard. I am an idiot and I got it right.

Eagle used to interview 15 or 20 people at a time 2 years ago, and turn away 3 or 4 just from not having all the proper paperwork, sometimes in the first 10 minutes of the day. I dont think they are still doing that, but if I were you, I would bring every single document they ask for, and bring anything else you might think you need. And if they ask you to staple it in a certain order and put a yellow check mark in the right corner, and a red check mark in the left corner (just a stupid example) then do it. They want to see if you will follow directions. Eagle is not the only airline that is picky about paperwork.

If you have trouble following directions on simple paperwork, then you are going to have a rough time going through systems, and taking a checkride in a level D sim. Hello, common sense.

Yeah, I understand their emphasis on attention to detail and following directions. My prior post was an attempt to be mildly humorous.

Thanks for the feedback Akro! It's always good having someone who has been there/done that give advice...it's one reason why I joined the forum.

Ok, I have now responded to this twice with really long answers and both times it logged me out before I had a chance to post. I tried to save it the second time or to copy and paste it but it wouldn't let me copy it. What do I need to do other than write really really fast?

I'm afraid if I PM you it will log me out again like it did when I tried to post it. I can get really wordy when I have a lot to say. I'm now afraid of this whole logging me out thing. Thanks for the offer, though!.

How about this - guy who originally started this thread, PM me and I'll get it to you somehow. I'm in the process of moving so sorry if it takes awhile for me to get back to you. My internet access might not be so great for awhile. When is your interview?
