Not having alpa will be a plus this next coming year when regionals start getting the squeeze put on them. I'd rather lose a percent or 2 on pay rather than lose flying or worse losing my job.

PS if I were you I would worry about how Xjt is going to survive this next year.
Thats too bad that you think XJT is in a bad position because we are underbid by pilots who want to work for less. Thanks for the doom and gloom, I am glad you are excited about some pilots with a good contract having an uncertain future. It's not because of ALPA, it's because of underbidders that you think we may not survive this year, right!?

Why can the regionals be "squeezed" ? I will tell you why, because we all bid against each other in a neat little race to the bottom. A union is only as strong as its MEC. TSA and Mesa seem to have weak MECs and bad management. I am sure that SKYW could have had an awesome MEC and still good management, kind of like XJT's union/management relationship. I don't know why you SKYW guys think that if all of a sudden you became ALPA you would turn into Mesa Airlines. Really, come on now. Maybe because that message was in the koolaid?

Glad to see that those pilots weren't found at fault for going off the runway? I am sure a little ALPA representation wouldnt have hurt one bit though.

Even if he did want ALPA at SkyWest, the union drive is over. Your baiting can offer no benefit, and it detrimental to your cause (if, in fact, it is promoting ALPA).

There is no current union drive at SkyWest. I don't expect to see ALPA back for 4 to 6 years, but they will be back.... that, I'm sure, we'll both agree. Millions of yummy dollars of dues monies waiting for them here.
