Post Lynx Aviation - - Newly certified Airline!

Lynx Aviation starts service December 6th in Denver! Press releases to follow shortly. We have six planes ready to go with two more to pickup this month. The other two sometime in January.

Finally passing the big hurdle and now >> lets get flying! Look for the 'baby' animals around DEN, RAP, SUX, TUL, ICT, & BIL. More cities to come very soon.

Happy Holidays to all.

Any idea how many ex-AWAC folks are over there in one capacity or another? I think I lost count at eight...

DENVER (AP) - Frontier Airlines says it expects to launch its new regional turboprop operation by Thursday.

The Denver-based carrier had hoped to start the subsidiary, called Lynx Aviation, in October but the Federal Aviation Administration was still reviewing its application.

Frontier spokesman Joe Hodas says the airline expects to get federal certification Thursday, and Lynx expects to fly its first flights that afternoon.

There is a rumor that Lynx my start SBS-LAS. Personally, I think that will be a good move there. Maybe Horizon would jump on it first, but wait, that may be too smart of a move.
