I think Toilet is running for Airline Pilot Central Dbag, but I don't think he'll be able to take that title from me just yet

Yeah SAPA....LOL! The same ones that got you that great raise a few months ago? Good luck with that one. ROTF!!!

Please show me a recent example where ALPA has gotten a regional airline a significant raise. More than a dollar here and there. I have a feeling I will be waiting a while. In some cases I have seen a dollar or so raise here and there through ALPA but more money has been lost through ALPA in the past 10 years than gained. I am pretty sure even SAPA will be able to get that oh so coveted dollar or two that ALPA has been able to negotiate.

I was looking for any news on that fourth code-share partner, etc.
TD, your union represents gojet and Horizon. If your union is so strong, why didn't get gojet get a Horizon contract? gojet was created circumvent AA's scope with the 50-seat flying, which you should know about because RAH did the same thing. Your MANAGEMENT did the right thing and merged the seniority list of all three companies. TSA's management did not. ALPA fought it and lost.
Also, the IBT chose to represent gojet. Personally, I find this disturbing. Did they not know that gojet was created to not only bust AA's contract, but keep ALPA out as well? Where is the unity among unions? TSA said NO to a crappy offer, which we all applaud. Now you have guys flying there and they are represented by YOUR UNION! Shouldn't IBT have said no to representing them?
If there was ANY unity among pilots in this country, please tell me where. Shouldn't YOU at RAH not fly the Continental stuff? Just as we should not fly the ASA and Comair flying we were awarded? My point is that everywhere you look, union or not, pilots are screwing each other left and right.
Our pay and work rules are at par with yours, if not above! When yours are better than ours, run your mouth then. If they are now, that is news to me from what I have gathered talking to friends who work at RAH. You are just as much of a puppet as anyone else flying for a living.

Still waiting for that great example of how ALPA is bringing up regional pay.

AWAC 2001
Just to name 2 off the top of my head.
Those were pretty impressive.
Lets think of the other top paying regionals. They are Horizon, ExpressJet, Eagle, and Republic... And what do they all have in common... they are represented by a real union.
Listen, I like Skywest. I think they are ok without a union (atleast at the time being). But I am shocked and appalled at the anti-ALPA sentiment over there. It is really scary.

I'd love to tell you but I've never worked for an ALPA carrier.
It's not just about ALPA bringing up regional pay. It's about the big picture. The big picture is is that you can 100% guarantee you won't get a raise from management out of the goodness of their hearts. With ALPA, you at least have a shot.
