Do I Have A Future Here?

In effort of avoiding real work pilots end up working the hardest of all for the least return.
You have a good message about the realities of the aviation industry...but to say it becomes lost by your awful delivery would be an understatement.

The problem everyone has with you is that you present your version of "the ugly and honest truth" colored by your own negative experiences and spun by your own opinions. Based solely on the contents of your postings, you cannot claim to be objective.
Is condescension part of the ugly and honest truth?

You obviously don't have a future in the airlines and are happy with that outcome.
Good for you.
Now quit hijacking my thread with YOUR spin, please...

He is a cornucopia of bitterness, resentment, lack of fortitude and or simple cowardice to be sure. But on top of that, seeing of how obsessed he is with money, he may well after each post become bathed in self-loathing, because he could be making more money (which is what he keeps coming back to despite the other spin) instead of telling us how miserable we should be. I had a great time when I was flight instructing for beans, flying corporate and at the commuter for beans, and most of the time ever since. Now I'm living the dream and look back on all of it in a good light...but that's a choice not a mandate. His mandate is to look back on his personal failure as a failure of the world, not himself. Money obviously isn't everything...my brother in law is a lawyer who made $10 million last year is in treatment for severe depression. CryHigh must be cut of the same soiled cloth, otherwise he'd be living the "good" life never giving this horrible career a second thought. If anything, he is a twisted periodic reminder about how good I've got it...and that likely ****es him off that much more. Too bad.

"I add a little spice to heat things up..."
Sky, that's the part that gets everyone wound up. There is no reason to add flamebait to your posts to "heat things up". It wreaks a perfectly good thread.

Good for you. We all are glad that you made it. Seems like a trend that only big time cargo guys have such an arrogant attitude. Keep on living the dream and rubbing it in while the rest of the flying world is in flames.

You see Skyhigh is literally the definition of insane. Here he posts the same message and rhetoric every time and expects a different result. He sits on some self labeled pedistal trying to sound like he's so simple in his message but has to present it with "spice" like we are all a bunch of dolts being led to slaughter like cows in the herd pens while he's here to simlpy save us from this bottomless well. Problem is the reality is that its like watching a 15 year old tell a 40 year old "how it is" and how he's the "expert know-it-all". Quite commical. Thanks for trying to "help us all out" here Skyhigh by dumbing it down but I give all the rest enough credit to know what they were getting in to and it AINT that bad.

Keep in mind that the "Honest and Ugly" truth is that Skyhigh jumped at the chance to fly a big jet for less money at a startup with the promise of a fast upgrade.
Skybus is hiring sky, you'd fit right in.
