Default Republic Study Guide (again...)

Ahoy, just scheduled an interview for Nov. 1, and I know this has been discussed before, but where the heck is this study guide that all the gouges keep referring to? I copied and pasted a bunch of questions from another thread on the topic into a word doc, but apparently I'm missing something from aviationinterviews.com.

Other than that, words of encouragement/advice?

Thanks in advance!

Due to the state of the industry right now, it is literally your job to lose. Be prepared, look professional, act professional, and remain calm during the process. It is not a hard interview.

There used to be a link on the website. I looked and couldn't find it anywhere. However, the link still works:

http://www.aviationinterviews.com/chq.doc

I don't know who wrote the answers on the damn thing since not all of them are entirely correct the last time I looked, so I would study the questions more than the answers.

Quag is right. Look the part, be professional act professional. We had 6 interview the day I did, and each person had a slightly different experience. I THINK they only hired 2 of the 6 ( one being me ) but I am not positive about the numbers. First thing was the Wunderlick cognitive test, dont get bogged down on any one question, answer and move on, or dont answer. the average # answered was 30-32 I would guess. Then it was a really straight forward instrument type question test that was 24 questions long. then they moved us out into the break room presumably so that we could be "watched" instead of the nice classroom we had been in. 4 of the 6 of us did the sim eval, I was last for the sim and last for the interview. I was called within a couple hours with the offer. My interview was straighforward HR type stuff. Some personal questions, a question why I had left a 121 carrier many years ago. No tech questions for me, others got pummeled with them so be prepared. FYI, my background is military and part 121 flying. Oh, the sim profile pretty straightforward PCATD sim, piston twin profile, take off, hold, full approach, missed approach, engine failure.....thats it. Good luck.

Thanks all. I've been prepping for interviews in general for the past month or so, but now that school's finally done with it's nice to have a palpable goal and direction. This will be my first airline interview, so whatever happens it should be worthwhile. Couldn't be more excited that this is all really happening!

Where the hell would I be without the internet?

1200/100, 22 years old...I was "that kid". PPL in '03, IR in '04, CPL in '05. However, a third of that time came after I got my CFII in February.

Yeah, my old instructor used to tell me that he had pairs of shoes older than me every so often.

Thanks for the encouragement.
