I used to have a roommate who commuted from KC to STL, but I'd imagine that would only be okay if you can bid high time four-days. Reserve would definitely require a crash pad near airport.

Anyone who gets the opportunity to fly into Fredricksburg needs to do it. One of the best hotels there is is called the hangar hotel on property. Good times there.

Actually IAH is somewhat expensive. But it worth it. You can't beat roadtrips in TX. From the Frio and Camal rivers to Austin's 6th street, New Braunfels beerfest, the beer drinking good times on the saltwater in the other direction, and tons of places like Fredricksburg. Also you can't beat having the mexican border there.

in Houston the housing market is very cheap compared with most large US cities. Even comparable property in SDF and IND costs more than it would in IAH. Plus its very very very very very hot in Houston.
