Pretty much everyone sees right through this lie and I hope the judge and jury do too.

It would be great to see this trial put a hurt on Mesa.

Ruling will be made in 2 hours...

Hawaiian is asking for $173 million.

Ruling expected in Hawaiian Airlines vs. Mesa case
Advertiser Staff
Hawaiian Airlines' request for sanctions against Mesa Air Group, the parent company of interisland carrier go!, will be ruled on at 2 p.m. today by U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert Faris.

Hawaiian Airlines is seeking $173 million in damages in its lawsuit against Mesa, according to court arguments this morning.
The amount previously had not been disclosed because Hawaiian's lawsuit was filed under seal.
Hawaiian is suing Mesa alleging the Phoenix-based company used confidential Hawaiian information to start go!.
The air carrier says Mesa gained the information during Hawaiian's recent bankruptcy proceedings. Max Blecher, a Mesa attorney, disclosed the amount Hawaiian is seeking during the third day of court hearings in Honolulu.

The hearing began yesterday and continues today. For those of you who don't already know, Hawaiian Airlines discovered that Mesa's CFO Peter Murnane attempted to delete files on his computer after Hawaiian filed a breach of confidentiality lawsuit against Mesa during their bankruptcy. Mesa is saying Murnane was trying to cover up his pornography tracks.

Murnane, by the way, was not present at the hearing.

both...fall down crying b/c you are laughing so hard....

couldn't happen to a nicer group of managment a-holes. karma is a bleotch...

It actually is a word.

Noun 1. cynosure - something that provides guidance (as Polaris guides mariners); "let faith be your cynosure to walk by"
counseling, counselling, guidance, counsel, direction - something that provides direction or advice as to a decision or course of action
2. cynosure - something that strongly attracts attention and admiration; "if he was the cynosure of all eyes he didn't notice"
center of attention, centre of attention, center, centre - the object upon which interest and attention focuses; "his stories made him the center of the party"

A federal judge ruled yesterday that the parent of go! airline misused confidential information from Hawaiian Airlines when setting up the new interisland carrier.
The preliminary ruling was a blow to Mesa Air Group, owner of go!, which is being sued for $177 million in damages by Hawaiian.
If Hawaiian wins the damages, Mesa may be forced to shut down go!, according to at least one industry analyst.
In the worst-case scenario for Phoenix-based Mesa, the company may be forced to seek bankruptcy protection, said Scott Hamilton, a Washington state-based aviation industry consultant.

Looks like a great time to not be working at MESA! I am loving this. I want to see that place tank.

Mesa Pilots - the writing on the wall says that JO will lose millions on this lawsuit and being forced into or close to bankruptcy he will never award you a better contract. Now is the time to leave... whether you are a Captain or an FO. Mesa management has really gotten the company into a mess now.

Since the June 2006 launch of go!, Mesa's cash holdings have fallen from about $345 million to about $198 million, Hamilton said, making it difficult for Mesa to pay $177 million in damages.
"There's not a single ray of sunshine in what's transpired since the beginning of the litigation for Mesa," Hamilton said. "There are dangers all over the place for Mesa on this thing."
