Is an ATP written required for an airline interview?

no, not necessarily, I am sure it would help, the ATP Written is a lot of stuff you probably already know. Take a few practice ones using the King ATP Test Prep I took it and I got like a 89 I think on the ATP Written..........

I did the Republic interview and got hired without the ATP written. You should get the test prep book anyway and study the questions. Some of the questions on the short written test they give during the interview are from, or similar to those found on the ATP written. If you get a job it will help being somewhat familiar with that stuff before you start training, but taking the test itself isn't necessary.

I just got hired by Colgan and they gave a 50 question tests based on the ATP.
I have not heard of anyone taking the written, they have just studied the GLEIM and have had no problems with it
I decided to work smarter not harder so since I was studying for the ATP anyway why waste that time and not take the test so I took the ATP. It certainly can not hurt and you are going to need it eventually anyway
