almost there.. i am in the low 800's out of 1400 pilots and believe it or not i am border line holding a capt spot in mem,,, its crazy. I could almost hold a line as a capt in dtw, and msp, but in good ole mem i would barely make the cut on the bid. at least as an fo i bid about 30 so i am getting around 16-17 days off a month with 2 day trips... life will sure change when i become a rsv captain...

Just for grins i typed in trans states only to find out we have 851-870HK reserved also...but did learn something new, while i thought all our airplanes were leased, we apparently have 7 in our name, which too means nothing.

Horizon Air holds N620QX-N660QX. The CRJ-700s are N600QX-N618QX. I'm not holding my breath on another 40 CR7s. Horizon also owns N170QX-N230QX. These numbers are incredibly cheap to reserve, and airlines often do so even if they have no plans to use them in the near future.
The cost to reserve a N-number is $10.00. The following payment methods are accepted:
American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa.

its either that or strike... like i have said before 9e pilots did nothing to get this flying.. we didn't take concessions, give up benefits, or give management an inch.. everytime the told us the place was shutting down if we didn't sign, we didn't.. now look.. 10 year contract with delta and nwa, 68 fo positions available starting the end of january, 15 planes nwa said they were taking aren't going anywhere till at least january (heard that from the horses mouth himself), captains spots that go unfilled.... we dont care about any of that.. we wont care till we get a fair contract.
"While a lot of our recent focus has justifiably been on the
CRJ900, some of the plans for our CRJ200 fleet will become
more visible in the near future. We are scheduled to begin
receiving CRJ200 aircraft from Pinnacle Airlines beginning in
early November at a rate of about two planes every month. As
you will read more about in this issue of NewsLaunch, in order
for our training to keep up with this rapid growth, we have
recently purchased a CRJ200 flight simulator, which is currently
being installed at our general office in Eagan."

Airsupport,
I do not intend to insult you but..... the point someone was making about getting the pay up is still valid. I looked at your pay rates posted on APC and it shows CRJ captain maxing out at 82/hr. That's $20 less per hour than the average. So to be bragmatic that your pilot group did nothing to get these airplanes is a little silly. By not demanding a competitive rate to fly them you did "do something".
Hopefully, your pilot group did not agree to fly a 90 seat aircraft for 50 seat rates. Hopefully APC just hasn't posted the new rates yet.......but I fear that is not the case.

It sounds like a jab at MESABA. But our concesions are temporary. We received money in our 401k's (a lot of money). Starting in dec 07 our pay starts coming back to pre-banckruptcy. Our current first officer pay WITH the concession is MORE then first year FO pay at 9E. So not sure what your point is?

they won't let me upgrade cause I am not old enough .... But we are "simply the best, but less than average!"
This company needs a contract... upgrade can occur after only 100 hours if you have the mins....
Take the -200's. We can't staff them. If we still have the -200's with -900's arriving it will just be more JM's and extensions for pilots that are already 30/7 or timed out for the year.... XJ has a better contract (even concessionary). I am hoping our union can get the nmb to release us cause I am all for a strike. I think thats all that we can do to get this mgmt's attention. A night out on the town has me being blunt...
