I'm still waiting to find out when they want the ID and manuals back...but I'm busy trying to find a job right now, I figure they'll get around to me eventually. Until then, screw em.

keep in mind that entire paper that you posted is one man's opinion who is not known to be associated with management nor ALPA, It is pretty much the same as every one posting on this board (except he has writing skillz)

Yes and while that might be true, several people asked to see it and this was the only way to show them. They are free to use their own judgment as they seem fit. While Mr Ford does have his own opinion, AT LEAST HE IS DOING SOMETHING!!

I'll give you this too, Mr. Ford is doing a heck of a lot more communicating then our own union is. What I really want to hear now from our union is if what he stated is true?? Anyone to let a flush-back program into our contract at this time is A FREAKIN IDIOT!!! DO YOU HEAR ME!!!!! A FREAKIN IDIOT!!!!! The only thing a flow-through program right now would do for us is put mainline Delta pilots in OUR seats! As soon as this merger is through and Delta says "oh gee whizz these DC-9's sure do suck the gas" They will downsize the fleet of junk NW has brought in with them and send all the pilots to RJ school.

beer break.......

Keep in mind that Mr. Ford has been at Comair long enough to see what works, and what doesn't. His opinions are probably backed up by more facts than the average person on these boards could supply.

So, we have 206 on furlough now with a up to 120 additional furloughs in January. Is the latest and greatest from Delta saying that the 120 will be 150, or 150 in addition to the already 300 announced?

Actually, the 120 became 86 (for now). My count is 292 on the street sometime during the first quarter of '09. Subject to change, of course.

Where did the 86 come from?

The 86 comes from the latest letter of downgrades our beloved company sent us. I don't mean to sound rude but do you live in a cave? (Excuse me if you are on furlough)
