What questions were asked? Any news about moving the mobile home facility? Did they outline consequences for not checking out on Maestro? Did they say that we are going down, but that we need to keep a positive attitude to support Big D?

I like how he would dance around a question, then when someone would ask again he seemed to get annoyed. That or maybe he was really trying to avoid the furlough/ALPA debacle.

1. Gas is cheaper
2. 50 seaters are on the way out (beginning of the end) Q400 and more fuel effecient aircraft are the new era of regional aviation
3. UA is still on hold, but there has been movement in a good direction (only for 50 seat feed due to UA's scope on # 0f 70+ seat a/c.) Still pimping ourselves to other carriers as well.
4. Emonstro is the best! Has no defects.
5. Company has not denied any of ALPA's submittals for furlogh mitigation
6. The Vage feels he should have pushed the issue harder with ALPA to meet more.
7. Those who have low morale, are at fault for having such low morale.( I guess that was in reference to DominAirTrix's question that was submitted
8 Comair will be part of some holding entity after Delta's DCC day (merger closure date). Comair will streamline back office support(kick people to the curb) since a lot of those funtions will be done by the holding entity. All three will streamline IT issues, such as operating systems and programs for scheduling and so forth.
9. Comair HAS NOT violated the pilots contract concerning long calls!

Riiight. And in the last conference call he said GRB wasn't closing and then two days later, they announced it was closing.

I like how JS said that even though the chips are down for many of us, we need to dig deep and help out the Comair sponsored charity events...for those less fortunate than us.

He also seemed to get rather angry whenever a pilot talked about their feelings.

Word from JS: You need to change your attitudes. If you have a bad attitude about being furloughed, it's your fault for being upset.

Take the lemons and make lemonade!

DS was strangely silent, huh?

Yeah, I like it how he also got a anonymous negative question about morale and management failures and he automatically responded with "well this must have come from a pilot."

He just celebrated 40 years in the airline business and has only called in 6 times. Funny because I saw him commute up from Tampa to CVG last week on a monday. wasn't he supposed to be at work before 2:30???

BTW: I never saw his name listed on the standby list either. I wonder if he was hiding in crown room.

Someone must have talked to him about that. This week he and the Missus flew back from Tampa on Sunday afternoon.

I think he burned an S2 because he got to sit in first class.

I'll be returning to engineering, and making roughly $70,000 a year.

Wait a minute... no I won't, because I can't take a voluntary furlough.

I guess one of the junior guys will have to enjoy the time off in my place while I spend my fifth winter doing walkarounds in YUL and GRB.

You won't be doing any walkarounds in GRB since that station is now closed. YUL, however, is a very good possibility.
