Yeah, same here. We had 12 people on a 900 from LGA-PBI last week, only two of them were in first class.

I haven't been flying much lately, mostly because I've been seeing scheduling assigning trips out of order.

I'm wondering if I could make a better living by writing a book about how poorly this place is run. Looking for a Title. Let's see what you guys come up with.

Some sequels could follow along these lines...

1. Ask not what Comair can do to you, but what Chuck Norris can do to Comair

2. Chuck Norris and DS: The Cage Match

3. Roundhouse Kick Short Call and Other Short Stories by Chuck Norris

4. No More Soap!

5. The One Man Management Structure... By Chuck Norris

Pinnacle is currently still taking deliveries of their initial 900's order for delta.

Freedom 900's will be removed from service and not transfered to another DCI carrier. Yet. They will be put in temporary storage. Reason is, Delta doesn't want to transfer the aircraft from freedom until they know for sure it is a done deal. Freedom CEO has vowed to challenge these a/c in court so it isnt a matter of if but when a lawsuit will be filed. (remember it took a while for the erj lawsuit to be filed and everyone thought it didnt exist) Delta doesnt want the expense of transferring these a/c only to have to transfer them back a few months later if Freedom wins another injunction or court case.

The next part of the plan is already verified by Delta's schedules posted on DeltaNet. Comair moves our current 900's up to JFK to cover the current 7 a/c worth of flying that freedom is doing now. Pinnacle with their current deliveries still to come is being moved up to cvg to cover the absence of comair.

Once any issues related to the Freedom 900's are resolved and no legal roadblocks exist Delta will award the Freedom 900's.(hopefully to comair again)

This makes sense so far because Freedoms a/c were supposed to begin their transfer to Comair this month. These a/c are still coming out of service over the next two months yet no press release has been issued by delta or anyone else as to where these a/c will go.

Theory Rumor whatever but at least it has some logic to it.
Actually OJ filed for the ERJ's on April 8th at the U.S. District Court in Atlanta. They also filed against Delta on August 6th to get their engines back, which Delta is holding in Lien against Mesa for non payment. There is nothing filed as far as the 900's are concerned. They're Delta property and taking them away will not harm MAG financially other than lost revenue. There is a hearing set for the 25th of this month regarding the ERJ contract and they are still awaiting a hearing date at the U.S. Court of Appeals, for Delta's appeal on the injunction. That case has gotten pretty nasty and I've actually seen some of the e-mails from MAG. They're pretty good at pawning their mess onto their mainline partners.

Master Training and Transfer list is out

1.) Why are there 2 upgrades
2.) Why aren't almost ALL of the displaced CURRENT 70 FOs (that are getting bumped by CAs coming to the 70 in the right seat) not on this
3.) Notice the dates,,that's getting absurdly late into the year

I don't think a large % of these are going to even be completed, too close to thanksgiving/holidays to make ANY sense..unless of course we're not in Delta's plans

On another note

Anyone else see the retarded article on epic?

I love how the first picture of the gate agents is probably pre 9/1 so they're working a Chautauqua flight

There are employees at Comair other than pilots you know.

Yeah, that's interesting. I'd be surprised if we furlough at all, though.

Thats correct the erj suit was filed but it took them nearly a month to file it after the initial announcement that they were being pulled. I understand Delta owns these aircraft but I can guarantee you Mesa, will at the very least file a lawsuit for breach of contract. There is absolutely a possibility that Delta will be unable to cancel the 900 contract. Mesa may not be able to gain an injunction for the reasons you stated but Delta may have to put these a/c back in service with Mesa or pay a huge penalty when mesa sues and If they win.

That is the first Date I have seen in conjunction with the ERJ lawsuit. Hopefully that is the case because I just want to know one way or the other. I presume the appeal to the injunction would have to be heard before the court case because why hear an appeal on an injunction after the lawsuit is settled.
