Has everybody seen freedoms numbers to date? They are great. Im so glad their back. They have only gotten a small portion of their flying back in jfk. Just wait until they get even more.
Freedom

D-Zero - 69.7
A14 - 71.4
Comair
Completion - 98.2
D-Zero - 81.8
A14- 83.4
I guess when you dont have the MCO flying to pull your numbers up it really hurts! At Least maybe it will only take a few more months for the judge to see what delta was talking about!

How would other regionals pull this off, since many of their Captains don't even have 5 years?

freedom in cvg
On Sunday i was non-reving on a JFK to MSP flight operated by freedom airlines in a CRJ-900. The FA told me he was moving to cincinnatti because "freedom is opening a base there." The way he was talking, he was moving in a month or two. Take it for what its worth.

I hope y'all are spending as much time honing your resumes and references as you do on this board...nothing personal. "F" Freedom...they havent' gone away yet and crazier things have happened in the courts. Any Comair pilot that hasn't thought about a plan B thru Z right now is IMHO is either in denial or is independently wealthy. Comair is going to be the next Skyway.
When this merger is done and the dust settles from the stampede of regionals groveling at the feet of two formerly bankrupt carriers for precious lift, Comair will be a fond memory. NW with Compass/Mesaba (both wholly-owned & growing), Pinnacle (guaranteed lift with NW and DL), and Skywest/ASA (also with an airtight contract). Where that leaves Comair isn't too tough to figure out.
