well we've already gotten bad news, so it must be "worse" news.
Delta probably is taking more airframes from us.
Like someone said on this or some other forum, since we're the only wholly owned DCI carrier, we're the ones that will get bent since they can't/won't cancel any contracts with the other DCI carriers.
I'll make this prediction-
We're going to lose or park 20 more airframes than what was originally told to us. By the time the year 2008 comes to a close, we will have 450 less pilots on our seniority list. 400 will be furloughed, and 50 will just resign because it will be acknowledged by all that this place is a sinking ship, and no body will want to be on the bottom of the list here.
However, to further my prediction, and to prove I'm not a pessimist, in 2009 we will get some 70/90 flying, (20 airframes), and will call back 200 of the 400 furloughs. Since half of the 400 furloughs would have already found other employment, that departed half will tell Comair to go pound salt. That will allow everyone on the seniority list to get called back in.
That will be completed around June 2009.

"In an effort to further reduce costs, we have instituted an exciting new program: Project S.C.O.O.B.A. Squeezing Cash Out Of Butthurt Aircrews. We are extremely excited about project SCOOBA and the potential it brings us for added profit. Since the flight crew is captive, bringing the flight deck in to the on-board revenue scheme is the next logical step. We are proud of our innovative new cutting-edge revenue sharing program.
We have determined what the average pilot consumes per flight hour and multiplied it by the minimum guarantee. This will be deducted from your paycheck on the first of every month. In an effort to demonstrate how much we really care, all SCOOBA deductions will be pre-tax. Yes, pre-tax. You're welcome.
We hope that you're as excited about this exciting new revenue stream as we are. In the coming months, look for other exciting crew revenue sharing synergies."
