That's what I have said in one of my earlier posts. I would not be surprised if performance was the reason DL backed out on this deal.
MONTH-TO-DATE PERFORMANCE:
Completion: 93%
D-Zero: 63.6%
A14: 66.9%
Baggage: 18.1
Even with 2 former higher-ups from Comair now working at Delta Connection, we still won't see any growth....

Hey Comair and Delta Management, F-ck your hats, F-ck your single engine taxi, F-ck your APU usage and finally F-ck PPAS (unless it augments MY PAY) and your Reduced thrust. We have been the most professional, cost efficient regional Delta has had and this is how you repay us. Screw you!!!!
Thats right! ****** the hats! I'm not wearing mine anymore!

But no, seriously guys, did you really think we deserved these airplanes? I for one don't think so. Yes, it would have helped big time in terms of furloughs and displacements, but holy cow our operation right now and the past few months blows. I sometimes feel bad for the people that have to fly on us. There is absolutely no excuse to cancel a flight because scheduling did not notify the CA of a flight he was suppose to operate. So, Comair cancels the flight, passengers are re-routed or even stranded, while Comair ferries an empty airplane to its next assignment. I have never seen so many -CX-'s and 9000 flights numbers at the Dep/Arr. report at the end of the releases as in the last few months. Like I said earlier, just give the damn planes to SkyWest or Pinnacle and be done with it, they have a scheduling systems that works and a fairly efficient operation. Comair is just embarrassing...
Like I always tell the passenger when they get off the plane... "Have a Delta Day" or "Welcome to the new Delta"

I'm honestly done caring and saving this company money. They don't put out the effort to give a rats tookus about what happens to us, and to our mental stability, by dangling and taking away furloughs like they're nothing. This is no way to plan a life, no way to make a living and don't anyone DARE say "it's a regional, that's the way it is"..BULL****...We are human beings, and that's the attitude that brought the regionals to where they are, THINKING we deserve less is what got us less.
I think this is where we all need to just ban together as Comair Pilots show the higher ups exactly WHERE THIS AIRLINE WILL GO if we show some real solidarity. I'd rather see this place shut down than to see these *#()@ shenanigans continue.
I agree
Catchup Cruise everywhere we go
Double Engine Taxi's with APU
Max Thrust on takeoff
NO EFFING HATS
I am embarrassed to work for such a horribly run airline, and to be associated with the name "Delta".

In an effort to eliminate the financial risk to the company associated with these charges, we are
discontinuing the ability for crews to charge to their rooms during trips, effective August
15. After that date, in the event crewmembers want to post charges to their room, they will
be required to use their personal credit card or pay cash for incidentals.

So here's the way I read this-
If we don't swipe a credit card when we check in (why T F would you want to?), and we take a sip from the $4 water bottle or get room service or watch a movie, nobody has to pay?
Or will the hotel track us down the next time we overnight there and interrupt our rest trying to collect funds owed to them?
Has anyone tried to use the "Menu button" since this took effect? Is it really disconnected, or just free?
