Just to keep this thread on topic, what are the latest numbers regarding how many aircraft are being parked through the end of the year? Are any other -700s leaving Comair? Are any more -900s being picked up?

I think it is just the 14 50 seaters that are getting canned... I dont think we are losing any 70's or 90's and I dont think we are picking up any either. This could all change in the next 30 seconds when J.O. and the Mesa gang get deported and/or Pinnochle <--Random act of sarcasm> loses the 90 contract. Then again.... I'm sure Soaper, to prove a point, would still figure out a way to furlough some pilots out of spite.

Do you think this is a professional organization or something?

BTW, you need to voluntarily go, since we know you do not have to work anyway!!!! LOL....
actually I have every intention of doing the voluntary thing as soon as I know what my options. Hopefully it helps someone downstream. That's why i'm surprised that we have this standing bid business happening right now when we don't even know how many cola's, or voluntary furloughs will be needed and taken. For that matter no one has approached the senior guys yet either. Cmon people tick tock......

I also changed my standing bid when I saw everyone was putting 100% next to all their choices. So maybe that works...who knows.....

Same here... I'd rather be making an honest living at a real job than spend another five years in the right seat for $35,000 a year.

But lots of questions need answers before I furlough myself.
