Comair updates?

So I have the story of the day at Comair. Rather its probably story of the year.
We over heard this on ATL radio. But apparently grandma, mom, and her 7 year old son were on one of our flights today. The boy had to go the bathroom, but the mom would not let him go to the back lav. So the grandmother takes him to the back to relieve himself IN THE AISLE next to the lav at the back of plane. There were people sitting in row 13 and they were pretty much mortified. Not sure of the outcome, but I'd sure like to know.
And no, this wasn't passed down, in case you are going to call BS on this. I heard this first hand from the CA on ATL radio today.

Best of luck. I didn't know you, but in talking with you, I think you knew our contract better than most of the pilots. Send for help when you make it to shore--this ship is sinking!

Its not fuel prices, the economy or Delta, Its MESA
It’s not fuel prices or the economy or Delta, its MESA. The reason 300 pilots and 210 flight attendant will lose their jobs is because of MESA. They are getting back all the flying that Delta took away from them and more. MESA undercut all the regional airlines to win the Delta contract then provided Delta with a terrible performance and service. The reason why MESA can afford to be so cheap is because its employees agree to work for peanuts and undercut their fellow brothers and sisters in the industry. Guys and Gals, do not blame fuel prices and the economy for losing your job, but blame your brothers and sisters at MESA. You may rest in peace MASA after you go BK in the very near future.

I think most people may be jumping the gun with the whole 300 pilots being furloghed. Its 300 staff that need to go(re-read the memo). While i do believe a large portion may come out of the pilot group in reality no one is safe. MX is being offered CLA's displacement notice is about to come out. MEC and MGMT sitll need to work out early buyout, COLAS, and voluntary F, so we should probably quit speculating and wait a week or so and find out what is really gonna happen. Also i wasnt here in '05 but if ive heard correctly didnt Comair threaten something like 400 furloghes and only 50 or so ended up being involuntairy? and werent many coming back to work just a few months after it began? take a chill pilll(preferbely one that wont show on a random test) say a prayer or dance around in a circle or whetever you do and just wait a min.

"We are still making minor adjustments to the number of pilot and flight attendant displacements, but the fall flight schedule calls for substantial reductions - 300 pilot positions and 220 flight attendant positions," according to the memo. "For pilots, the displacement bid will affect both CVG and JFK CRJ captains. However, we expect the largest impact to be in our JFK base for both work groups."
