If you submitted a time change and it still hasn't been changed call scheduling and ask to speak to the CP on duty. I had a time change that was over 3 hours difference and he told me he considered it to be an error and did not change it. But, he changed it after I spoke with him.

Gah this job suck sometimes, reading these absurd stories about getting shafed on pay is MADDENING. I'd quit..but I'd be leaving underneath most of you so it would be useless to you all! (not to mention the unemployed problem for me)

Dear 300 new hires,

Get off IOE now plz

kthx

p.s. more buffer required, Comair continue hiring

If you open the aircraft door, which you do to refuel, the clock start over again and you only get paid for taxi credit.

I blame ALPA for the BS contract. What union would agree to 420 credit for 6 hours of work? If you can read through the confusing, mixed up, lawyer BS that's pasted all in the contract. Theres a lot more BS in there. Some one needs to come out with the Comair contract for dummies book.

I'm pretty sure thats a good thing to get paid 420 for doing 6 hours of absolutely nothing. Most airlines have longer ready windows for lessor pay?

I taxied out of ORD, sat on Twy D for 3:50, then returned to the gate and cancelled. Got paid 0:24. That's all part of the deal.

I did absolutely nothing at a job once. I got paid for the ENTIRE time I was there. I think this is part of the problem in the airline industry. "oh its not that bad, we could work for {insert airline name here}". Most of us accept it because we love to fly and hated that other job.

Honestly though, it is that bad. Ive also heard the whole we have to be competitive issue. That's fine, be competitive but why are we competing for pay with other ALPA airlines? Shouldn't ALPA have some sort of standardization here?

Well, if its that bad, I'm sure you could get on at WalMart. I'm sure they're hiring.
