on a side note, supposedly comair is to stop hiring and classes here very soon. heard yesterday from an system intregration instructor. makes no sense after they just hired a hand full of sim instructors.

Well I don't know about that news but since they announced they were going to hire 300.. (if everyone shows up to the classes) they have hired just shy of 200, that's still a lot.

That's what I have been saying for a while now. They are hiring on "possible/projected" growth! That doesn't make sense. Even IF we would get the 90s from Freedom, it wouldn't take 300 pilots to staff it. We can furlough just as quickly as we can hire. Let's just hope they'll continue with the upgrades...
