Sorry for the delayed response.....Yes you may ask why...I spent to much time making a pretty landing and not enough stopping the inertial forces created by said landing.

AKA. I landed long and had to get on the brakes. It was a relatively shorter runway.

It is already written up. The aircraft has been downgraded to CAT I for quite a while "due to autopilot history." A bit vague, huh?

Here's what happened to us:
Mid flight, both flight directors occasionally flash
during cruise flight, autopilot kicks itself off
Captain's CDI goes blank and stops receiving all information
Autopilot kicks off in the middle of Alts Cap
Autopilot kicks off in approach mode, speed bug jumps to 210 (which happened to be above redline) and f/o flight director flags.

These all were at different times. And this incorporates a few different systems.

Now come on, I taught you to fly better than that! Believe me, I know!

If it is not covered, and there is a reserve available for 4 days, then of course they will

And they will also give you 5 hour 4 days if you are lucky enough! Believe me, it's possible.

That would make a good 4 day, but that is a crappy 5 day.

I don't want to read all 400 pages of this post so forgive me for the repitition. I know things are rapidly changing with hiring all over, but how long does Comair anticipate continuing to hire new pilots? I know they want to have a class every week, but I read they are only at every other week. Do they still have a good number of slots to fill due to attrition?
