I didn't think the amount of hours determined whether or not you get a line. I thought the bottom x% have to be on reserve. However, with more hours, you'll get trips assigned right out of the gate.

This may be good news for all ya'll eternal LC dwellers. I was 33 from the most junior line, if it works out i figure 1300 hours being about an additional 15 or so lines? (using 84 as a min line value)

Will it probably be less than that?

Do they construct lines as close to the min line value as possible?

If you ask me we have TOO many FO's on reserve as it is in JFK.

pantera

put it simple dang if you do dang if you don't, simply put if the company loses the battle then the L2 will be the most tagged reserve out there an thats where the company will take it too to get productivity. remember there no contract language for tagging. Either you call sick of fatigue. It wont be pretty but time will tell the contract admin, i'm not sure what that details or the next step.

Looks like Comair's new range of flight numbers goes into effect starting in June.

Reg scheduled flights: 5035-5849.

Why can't Delta make things easy and give comair all the 5000s

Wouldn't 1300 hour mean more guys are needed to cover the lines. So maybe we would get lines. Or it could mean the reserve guys will get more flying. Like me. I wonder if anyone else made it the whole month of April without working like I did .

It gets confusing when they shuffle the numbers around. It should be DL 0-2999, SkyWest: 3000-3999, ASA: 4000-4999, Comair: 5000-5999, CHQ: 6000-6999, and S5: 7000-7999. It would make it so much easier!
Of course I left out Freedom, since they're on the way out.

That ****es me off. I had a trip I really wanted to drop last month, but was denied due to "staffing." Yet there were people who weren't flying at all. With that trip, I was at 115 credit hours for the month.

Selvaggio keeps saying in those web conferences that the company needs to bring non-fuel costs down..while at the same time they are paying people 75 hours a month to sit at home and do nothing.

Finally some good news..just got the invite to CVG next week to interview. A week ago I was under the impression that hiring had been locked down across the board and it was back to Jr Jr varsity for me. Wheres the extra flying coming from? How does this jive with Delta's 3-5% reductions?

the 3-5% was taken from Freedom's MCO flights, ASA got the remnants of that flying with their "new base".

Comair is hiring 300, get on now, in front of the wave.
