Most of the very little flying that I have been doing has been out of CVG. DH or fly over then do out and backs and DH back, I suppose on the 70/90 I can look forward to living in CVG but continuing to fly out of JF'nK apparently.

Haha I'm not worried, because by the end of the summer I should be up by 300!

Could this 50% "shift" in NE flying be bad news for cincinnati. I know that the suits at DL are saying "no base closes' but that could be all just a crock of crap for the Dept. of Justice to soak in so they approve the merger. Could be a pre-emptive move by DL to get us more established in the east before the axe CVG post merger...

Just a thought. (It'd be a good, sneaky, backhanded way for teh company to ditch senior guys...... )
Wow that actually sounds very plausible.

If you're CVG 50 based and you switch to the 70/90, you'll see a lot more of JFK and LGA. You'll have trips that won't see CVG except first and last legs. I'd say only about half of the trips are CVG trips. The rough trip breakdown on the 70/90 are:
40% CVG out/backs
30% JFK o/b
20% LGA o/b
10% ATL o/b
These are just my estimates. But most trips seem to be loyal to just 1 hub. For example the last few trips I've done this month were:
CVG-MSP-ATL-CMH-ATL-IND-ATL-CAK-CVG
and:
CVG-BOS-JFK-BOS-JFK-BUF-JFK-DTW-CVG
and:
CVG-LGA-DAB-LGA-DAB-LGA-JAX-CVG

At least it's flying, I am very bored sitting here in a crashpad. I've had 49 hours credit, 26 of it was block. Looking quite forward to a change in pace.

P.S. ftrpilot, I just sent you a pm, question for you, if you don't mind.

I think the flying on the 70/90 is a lot better then on the 50. In the last 6 months I have only had one 5 leg day and most days are 3 legs a day. The trips for the most part are better and blocked pretty high. I just had a 20 hour three day trip which turned into a 21 hour three day trip. While we might do a little more JFK turns we do a lot of Florida stuff too. A lot of AUS and for awhile there I was in MSY all the time (YEH hotel one block from Bourbon st!). There is not a whole lot of extra JF'nK but I do find I go to LGA a lot more.

There is A LOT of ATL O'n'B's!

What I do miss though is going to some of the smaller airports where even in the 50 you were "The Big Dog".

You'll still get a few of those. We still see BTV, CAK, GSO, and SCE (where the 70 is the largest airplane that flies there I believe)
