Its not that CHQ "can't" cover it, per se. Since DL is parking their 135's, they have no option but to ask us to do it. We have the staffing and the airframes right now to cover it. Max landings per day is 7 contractually. I'm looking for specific sections now.

Yeah, I tried to add the CVG-CHA out and back to my other trip I just got approved. I didn't get it. Maybe it didn't go through. I just requested it again. I always thought we were limited to 6 legs a day, but those are some pretty short hops.

I was talking to a CHQ dude a few weeks ago. He wasn't sure how many 37 seaters they are going to park, but he said that there might be a possibility that CVG would close as a base for them, as they mostly fly the ER3 in and out of CVG. Those ER3s are pretty crappy planes anyway, always weight restricted. Wouldn't be surprised if we go back into places such as FWA, TOL, SBN, MSN, etc. in a few months.

Found it. Section 12.F.1 talks about scheduled landing limitations. Max is 8 landings per duty period, extendable to 10 landings per duty period.

This DSL is really not that bad. It's a lot of work, but we used to see schedules like these on a daily basis.

I believe that DL is parking all of CHQ's 135s. Not sure exactly how many that is though. For us, I believe we have lost 30, give or take a few, total airframes to date.

Thanks for finding that RJtrashPilot!

Talk to some of the CVG CHQ guys, they do schedules like that every day. If DL does park all of CHQs 135s, I think there is a good chance they will close CVG as a base. Maybe we will finally start parking the all the 70/90 over at Concourse A.

SBN and MSN. Great overnights, as long as it's not in the dead of winter. MSN has a great downtown area and SBN is a great college town with Notre Dame right down the street. Fiddler's Hearth right next to our old hotel in SBN was a great little Irish pub/restaurant with great food, beer and live Irish music.

They finally denied my request to switch days because of staffing on a tuesday. So I went and looked at the reserve status 50 FOs are available on the day I want off. Do you think they even look sometimes if they can do the request or just deny them and put staffing?

I think you've been here way too long. You need to upgrade

I'm working on it. It's kinda tough when we keep losing airframes and block hours. I've got my bid in to upgrade to JFK ASAP. I know I'd be sitting reserve there, but in the end, I feel it would be worth the pay raise and PIC time to commute for it. The most junior captain that just upgraded is only 90 numbers senior to me. It is slowly working its way down!
