Yet more rationalizing your immature antics.

Classic.

Ok, for you, I'll do this one more time.

1. DAL pilots *gave* away scope way back when.
2. DAL MANAGEMENT promoted more regional flying.
3. Pilots were hired as a result of the new flying [NOTICE there is not affirmative act on any pilot here other than applying for and becoming employed - you guys have an awful tendency to place BLAME where none exists]
4. One, simple, with no authority to take effect, LETTER was written [which still allowed DAL pilots to take jobs at OH, but as we all KNOW, that is not enough for DAL pilots, THEY WANT IT ALL!]
5. DAL pilots VOTED, (did I mention VOTED) {I forgot to add, DAL pilots VOTED} to effectively reduce DIC with the end result being the dimsmantling of OH. OK, maybe it's good for everyone (laugh) but ALPA brothers VOTED, (ooops, fogot to say VOTED to do so with no provisions made for their ALPA brothers).
6. I think I forgot to mention DAL pilots VOTED to throw their ALPA brothers under the bus.

You're wasting your time with him. He'll say it's just business, and Delta giving flying to non alpa carriers is a good business move because they're cheaper.

I was on an ALPA regional airline committe with folks from comair, simmons (that was an Eagle carrier way back when), us air express, a continentsl express carrier, and ASA...and some old guy Babbit? (Sp) was at the helm of ALPA during those days. (Circa 1992/1992)

We were tasked with developing a system wide flow up/flow down agreement. The committe chair was a feller from Comair named Danny (florida brakillia capt). We all worked for nearly a year on the proposal and developed a nifty system which allowed regional captains flow up to their respective main line carrier and allowed the main line carrier to flow down to the regional in the event of furlough. ALPA national commended us.."nice work boys, but we will only accept flow down for us and preferential interview for y'all."

Oh the audacity! Oh the humanity! Funny how when Delta furloughed a tug boat load of pilots the Comair and ASA boys kept on
flying.

So oblivious to history? I was there baby! Naive? Hmm. Wifi is about to give out Top of D here going into HKG. I gotta think about that one. I will get back to you.

When you have faced your employer being BK, then perhaps you can comment on this. I haven't faced BK, so I can't say I'd vote NO. Can you?

Which gave you a job. Tell me which Legacy management did NOT promote regional flying post 9/11?

You chose to work for lower wages, & a contractor. You & I are guilty of that. There is certainly blame there, because we facilitated managements ability to outsource. WE fueled their outsourced operations allowing them to furlough our ALPA brothers and sisters. Or "throwing them under the bus" as you call it.

The job was conditional on Delta pilots giving up their Delta seniority number. Did Comair ALPA attempt to change this? Would you resign from a Legacy for a Regional job?

Once again(since you failed to previously address this), when did Comair announce they would be shrinking to 44 airplanes? And when was the latest Delta pilot contact ratified? And you're incorrect on there being no provisions. There is a provision in the contract requiring 35% of new hire classes to be ALPA DCI pilots.

No, we did not. We voted to create more higher paying positions that provide an overall better QOL. We opted to take back flying. It's convienent how you're angry that Delta pilots gave up scope, & now you're angry that they're taking it back.
