In September 2010, Comair announced it would cut its fleet in half and operate just 44 jets by the end of 2012. At that time, Comair had 2,600 employees, including 1,800 locally. Then-Comair president John Bendoraitis said the fleet reduction “is very much setting up Comair for success, not failure.”
Right.

Wow! Just heard the news about Comair.
Worked as a ramp agent in CVG. Will always remember the 6 o'clock (am/pm) and the 8 o'clock (am/pm) push. I wish you all the best!
Btw, if anyone out there has knowledge of the whereabouts of one particular pilot, send me a PM and I'll get my info to you to pass on to him.
His name is Jim; 6'5"; about 230lbs; light-skinned African American male; should be in his late 50's...maybe evening early 60's; flew B-52's in the Air Force. Last I remember, in 1999, he was an FO on the 200. Based outta CVG.
It'd be great to hear from him.
