A romantic notion, but be prepared to request a check every 2 weeks, have somebody at home deposit it at your bank (no direct deposit for KY), and interrupt your travels every month to visit the office for a review.

You must be single and live in Mommy & Daddy's basement. Some people need health insurance and need to survive on more than 20k/yr. Why look for a job when you make more on unemployment, right? That's why this country is so screwed up.... but I'll leave it at that. Have fun on unemployment!

Seen most of the world already. Rather be at a beach doing nothing. As far as my calling, I do know exactly what I'd like to do instead of flying. But getting a spot as a fluffer in lesbian porn is extremely competitive.

Maybe a screw up and it's the other comair that operates in Africa that ordered 'em..since they actually fly 737s..i'm willing to be this is the case!

Does Delta have another subsidiary in Africa? Notice this article title says based in Ohio. While Comair is not based in Ohio, the confusion of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport being in KY is believable. I am willing to bet that Delta leased these aircraft under the Comair brand to keep them off of their books in the last quarter of 2010 and that Delta intends to use them for Delta. A benefit of owning multiple companies.

Goodbye Comair, you will be getting my two weeks notice on Friday and I couldn't be happier. Good luck to everyone else trying to leave that God forsaken place!

I'm more with Andy here. I've seen Comair aircraft in Jo'berg. They are a licensed franchisee of British Airways, kind of like the Virgin operations in the US and world wide.

Some idiot at Airfinance Journal got a press release from KV and Googled Comair and probably went by the first Wikipedia entry that come up.

They are expanding their fleet of 737 a/c. Also KV Aviation, the leasing company is an Australian company with offices based in Sydney and London. Erste bank is a European finance bank, based in Hungary I think.

Nothing here smells of a Delta deal.

Very good times ahead for Comair...South Africa...dba British Airways Comair that is.

best of luck Red Forman
