Ask a Midwest Express Pilot about that one.

Shows that you don't know your history very well.

What kind of aircraft were operated at Air Wisconsin and Horizon in a regional roll long before the CRJ was on the boards?

How many CRJ were on the property when Mesaba operated jet aircraft with a First Class section?

When did the Delta contract begin to restrict code-sharing?

When did the seat limitation get tightened (remember your BAE-146's at 88 seats)?

There was no trade of scope for payrates when the CRJ showed up at CMR and SKYW. Delta was furloughing pilots when the first one flew, and that was a full 3 years after the DAL pilot contract was signed.

So, someone asked me a serious question today. Is it ok to pick up Extra Flying now since this company is going downhill and there is zero chance of recalls?

Just because this company is getting shrunk starting next year doesn't really have anything to do with staffing right now! We all know we are short on pilots, especially on the 50 Captain side!

More importantly, is there a good reason to use PPAS anymore?
