Yeah...maybe we should have preferential hiring just like Comair had preferential hiring for Delta's furloughed guys/gals.

On Comair's fact page for APC - it says they have 92 50s.... But I'm quite positive that is incorrect. Anyone know the correct # of 50s on property?

So here is what I see happening. 44 Aircraft by the end of 2012. By the way I am so sorry to hear that guys. You are a really great bunch of guys and it was a pleasure working with you when I did. At the end of 2012 mandatory retirements will be knocking at the door, so the majority of the originals that are still at Comair will be forced to retire. Then it won't make Delta look as bad when they close the doors. They will just blame it on retirements at the end of 2012.

. Someone mentioned drinks in downtown MCO.....i'm up for that.

so over 800 pilot jobs gone by the end of 2012, wow. you know the buyout package is gonna suck arse. Comair has the strong hand here and i wouldnt expect much money. Anyone know if i'll get a pay out for my vacation bank if i resign now?
