Sorry guys :-(

I don't believe for a second that Comair costs 20% more per block hour than your competitors.

Sounds to me like Comair is being reduced and packaged to be more attractive to potential buyers.

This is a scary and brilliant move from Mgmt. They're trying to kill a lot of birds with one stone. Let the mass exodus begin..........btw, 44 frames is about 450 pilots. At a 45/55 ratio, that makes 202 Cpts, 248 FOs. 30% (61) of the Cpts will be on reserve, the rest will be fighting for crappy lines. Now, where's the seniority date @ the 450 mark?. Then 248 FOs of which most are pretty senior, will have to take a gigantic pay cut and a severe blow to their quality of life. Not sure how that's gonna fly.
I see a buyout in the forseeable future.
Good luck to everyone.

I would think they would make the cuts quickly rather than over a two year period if that were the case.

Sorry for all the folks about to lose their jobs... I know what you're going through. Best of luck!!

Cra**y news, guys. Not only are airframes going away, but for those fortunate enough to stick around, it looks like paycuts are in order. The silver lining--if any--is that several airlines are going to be hiring over the next year while all this is going down. Best of luck.
