If not, carry on.
i thought the instructors are usually behind the rumors starting just to see how far around it goes but i hope your right and not me.

That would be nice, let's hope so.

I have come to the conclusion that airline pilots and flight attendants are like Evangelist. They spout doom and gloom, and when it does not happen, when they say it will, they just say it will come at a later time.
We should just stand on the corner in some backward southern town, perhaps Memphis or Atlanta, holding our pilot contract and yelling, "The end is near! The end is near! Repent now, the END IS NEAR!"

That's a very keen observation and funny too. Do we get to self flagellate also?.

Exactly! And IF something happens, there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. We have no control over management or anything else that happens in this industry. All you can do is hope for the best and plan for the worst, do your job and not drive yourself insane with crazy rumors and speculations.

That isn't new news.

I'd rather them scuttle the whole operation than give them any money. We make less than our counterparts at the other regionals.

Agreed. But our FAs make more than mainline (and they want to stay union-free why, exactly?)

Correction on that. They don't make more than mainline, they make more than most (possibly all) other regionals.
