Unless I am missing something Skywest can't buy just the assets unless Delta dismantles Comair first. If Skywest buys Comair they have to integrate the lists. Read the successorship paragraph in the contract.

Damn straight. There is no way he "resigned" his position. It's obvious that when the music stopped, he was still doing the Funky Chicken.

This person who started the rumor said the big bad one was today. Basically, it would be announced SkyWest bought all of our assets but isn't taking the employees here at OH...it didn't happen. If I got some real facts I couldn't spill it because he'd (my hubby) would get in trouble. But I don't have any facts about anything. He got tons of calls re: this bad announcement. It was a shock that DS was terminated and was told he didn't resign voluntarily.

You are correct about DS. He was forced out. I know for a fact that Skywest will only buy the aircraft and routes from Comair. They do not want employees. When management starts jumping ship you will know the ship is sinking.

ok i understand that ASA is understaffed and are recalling all of the furloughs, but what about XJT? dont they still have like 200 out on the street?

Like when Randy left in 2005? Or when FredEx left in 06? Or when UncaDon left in 07? Or when ng left in 08? Or is Bendo/ng4 leaving soon? After all, his second "tour" is up in three months...

I'm curious if your "deepthroat" is in CVG, ATL, or SLC? One post you claim to have insider info about ASA, then you claim to have insider info about SkyWest, and then you have inside info from Comair on DS being forced out? I suppose you golf with the Dick Anderson?

Wait - Are you that A$$Clown Roger Cohen?

I don't know about XJT. I wouldn't be surprised if they do.
I know XJT still has furloughed pilots. A friend of mine just got a recall while another one is still almost 60 away. According to APC they have 200 still out. I just wonder how they merge the pilot list when people are out on the street. Anyone know how this works? Do you bump someone onto the street is you become more senior to them or do you wait for recall and than send them down the seniority list when you get back?

Usually staple furloughs to the bottom

So if ASA were to purchase Comair, they would have to create a new merged furlough list as well?

Getting rid of DS is like eliminating termites eating a house; would we really suffer if there is no immediate replacement?
