Had a septoplasty to fix the septum in my nose, so I'm hanging out on the couch for a week or so till I get the ok from the doctor. Everything is good so far.

Ouch, that sounds fun. Just try not to blow your nose, for fear of blowing it off.

I'm still undecided if purchasing a condo right now is a good option. Go/No go?
From the financial articles I've read, housing prices are going down an additional 25% in 2008. Then perhaps staying on a level playing field for awhile. It takes a LONG time to get into the housing situation we're in, and will take even longer to get out of it. So, I'm very comfortable in waiting another 2 years or so before buying anything. Plus, if you don't have at least 10% as a down payment you're setting yourself up for trouble.

What are your guys' 2nd year paychecks averaging? $1000 & $1500?

My god, that's tough...I had that a few years back..the packing is a weird feeling. Do you have to do the saline wash?

Yup, done that a couple times today, but I have done that before, so I'm used to that. Anyone going to the captains only meeting tomorrow?

Blue, just a piece of unsolicited advice Do not go to work any earlier than the Doc told you... I had that done (and sinuses and tonsils too) last Feb, went to training 9 days later. Wasn't fun.. well, basic indoc was enjoyable, but then the meds ran out. I darn sure couldn't have handled too many cabin alt changes.

BTW- Have you noticed your two front teeth feeling funny? Mine still do occasionally even this long after...

PS- I signed up here when recovering: hence the screen name
