IF they would move the CR7/9s to NYC, the senior folks wouldn't quit, they'd stay in CVG on the 50 or even go to DTW. You guys need to stop fantasizing of all th senior guys quitting. They will all stay put until they retire or die, no matter how miserable DL/OH will make them!
Let them go to the 100/200 then, and I'll go with the 700/900 in NYC

Fort Myers area (RSW)

Only 3 Delta flights a day to DTW (and a Spirit flight if they are still around).

Heard a rumor that there are around 400 commuting NWA (Delta) employees in the TPA area. If that is true, I can see the TPA-DTW commute being a real hassle, which would probably overflow into MCO problems.

Sure, Airtran or Delta through ATL is a possibility, but who wants a two leg commute? This job is not worth that hassle.

Noticed most the FL flights out of CVG were on Airbus' yesterday and today. That must help a little for those commuters. Wonder if that is just a summer thing or hopefully permanent.

DTW to anywhere in FL is tough. Lots of NWA commuters.

Not sure about ATL...looked hellish at times. Not sure how the bidding at the "new Delta" has changed it.

I wouldn't use that necessarily as an indicator, the turnover rate for FAs is a lot higher than pilots.

As far as commutes go from FL. Maybe picking CVG over DTW because of the competition on the Florida-DTW commutes might not be a bad move. Yes, there are less flights from FL to CVG, but you also have less commuters. Might be something to think about. If you can get Southwest to start DTW-MCO, that would definitely help a lot, they are great to commute on.

no sir, I did not.

RSW-CVG= 1 flight per day (12:50pm to CVG, 9:30am to RSW). I believe they dropped CVG-SRQ, or are going to.

USA3000 still flies between RSW-CVG, but their schedule is on and off.
