the early indication is ALWAYS a 100% acceptance when you count letters coming in... nobody's going to be in a rush to mail in their resignation... I agree with the thoughts that 80-90% of the remaining letters out there are resignations... the last percentage being those who had problems with getting the letter or are waiting the full contractual 10 days before returning the paperwork. will there be a second round of recalls soon? yes... but not a very large one, doubtful if any more than 20-25 numbers are called in the next few weeks...

Ok, so perhaps I am reading too much into this, but . . . in reading the initial announcement about recalls, the memo stated a MINIMUM of 70 pilots and 40 flight attendants. Since 70 is the minimum, does that mean that if there is no secondary recall notice, that a new recall notice will come out later this summer? OR, is 70 pilots all that is needed to cover 1100 additional hours (come November)?

They need a min. of 70 pilots, if 85 want to come back, the company will take it. If only 60 come back the company MIGHT send out some more recall notices.
Not sure what's so difficult to understand!?!?
